Madissyn Zapata

Madissyn Zapata is a 20 year old San Antonio Native that has been involved with Teatro Audaz since 2022. She has been apart of 9 production with Teatro. From growing up singing with her dad in church services to falling in love with theatre at the age 11, Madissyn has always been surrounded in the arts. In High School, Madissyn was Treasurer (2019-2020) and President (2020-2021) of the Thespian Troupe 4557 with Taft Theatre, graduating from Communications Arts High School in 2021.

Since graduating, Madissyn has pursued offstage experience in both design and stage management. Some of her favorites include Sound Design/Stage Manager for “I-DJ”, Stage Manager for “The Ghosts of Lote Bravo” and Prop Mistress/Stage Manager for “Somewhere Over the Border”. Some of her favorite onstage work has been Siobhan in “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime” which won the 2021 6A UIL OAP State Championship and most recently: Texas in “Cabaret”. She is now currently attending SAC in pursuit of her degree in Drama, hoping to transfer to get her BFA and teacher certification to become a Theatre Arts Teacher.
