As a part-time position, the Teaching Artist serves as the campus based Theatre Arts Instructor all school days for San Antonio Independent School District academy campuses.
Grade Levels (K-12) depending oncampus assignment.

As a part-time position, the Teaching Artist serves as the campus based Theatre Arts Instructor all school days for San Antonio Independent School District academy campuses.

Teatro Audaz San Antonio is offering an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals to join our team as our intern.
This internship program provides hands-on experience and mentorship in theater production, arts administration, and community engagement within a non-profit organization that promotes latinx culture through the arts.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist with program planning:
Support the program coordinator and artistic team in the planning and executing of theater programs and events.
2. Marketing and Promotion:
Contribute to developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our theater programs effectively, including social media campaigns, email newsletters, and community outreach efforts.
3. Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, answering phones, and coordinating meetings and events.
4. Artist and Volunteer Coordination:
Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and communicating with theater artists , volunteers, and interns involved in our programs.
5. Event logistics:
Assist with logistical tasks related to rehearsals, performances, and special events, such as venue setup, ticketing, and hospitality.
6. Community Engagement:
Participate in outreach activities to engage with local Latinx communities, theater groups, schools, and other stakeholders to promote participation in our programs and events.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program, preferably in theater arts, arts administration, cultural studies, or studied a related field.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment,
- Proficiency in Canva, social media platforms, and Google Drives
